This constellation depicts the famous winged horse of Greek mythology. Pegasus was said to have sprung form the body of Medusa, the Gorgon, when Perseus beheaded her. To find Pegasus look for the Great Square high up in the southeast at around 22:30. Four stars mark out the corners of the square that forms the upper body of the horse.
